Admission Requirements
  • (a) An applicant for admission to the programme shall be a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife or a graduate of any other approved University The applicant shall normally possess a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) Honours degree to be eligible for admission. In exceptional cases candidates from OAU with third class degree may be considered under certain conditions as stipulated in the regulations governing postgraduate studies. However, other candidates in the same category with at least 7 years post qualification experience may also be considered. Candidates with the following qualifications are also eligible for admission .
  • Postgraduate diploma degree in Public Administration or any cognate discipline; and/or Professional qualifications/membership of such institutes as Chartered Institute of Management (CIM), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and such other recognized professional institutes. Entry requirements into any of these institutes must satisfy those for admission into first degree programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
